Maternal Health Services in the NYC

Prenatal and Postpartum Care

Welcoming a new addition to your family is an exciting and joyous time. That’s why MHHC is here to support you throughout your pregnancy and beyond. Our maternal health services are designed to provide you with exceptional care to ensure that you and your baby are healthy.

By providing comprehensive, accessible care, we aim to decrease maternal mortality rates in the Bronx and Brooklyn communities, in addition to enforcing equity in maternal care. Poor birth outcomes can include factors such as substance use, homelessness, housing insecurity, poverty, limited education, and stress. We try our best to address these factors with our patients and provide necessary education, support, resources, and treatment as needed.

To learn more about our maternal health services in NYC, please reach out to MHHC at (718) 716-4400 or (929) 512-3900 if you reside in the Brooklyn area.

What Is Maternal Health?

Maternal health focuses on the health and well-being of patients during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Maternal health includes prenatal care, child delivery, and postpartum support. At MHHC, we offer a range of maternal health services to ensure the well-being of both mother and child.

We are proud to say that we also provide doula services for patients who would like an additional layer of support during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. Doulas offer advice regarding birth plans and comfort measures, in addition to providing emotional support throughout the entire pregnancy journey.

Prenatal Care Services

Our prenatal care services are designed to provide expectant mothers with the best possible care during pregnancy. We provide routine checkups to monitor the health of the mother and baby, including blood pressure and weight monitoring, as well as blood tests and ultrasound services to track the health and progress of the baby.
