The MHHC Foundation, the philanthropic arm of MHHC, has long been committed to advancing equity, celebrating culture, and investing in healthier, more vibrant communities. Since 1997, the Foundation has mobilized critical resources to address the deeper social determinants that shape the health of the communities we serve—inequities in housing, education, food security, and access to care. Too often, our patients’ health is influenced not only by medical needs but by systemic barriers tied to instability, transportation, and limited access to quality services. Addressing these challenges requires more than clinical care; it demands a whole-person approach grounded in dignity, understanding, and long‑term support.
At the heart of this commitment is the newly unveiled BeWell Health Center, a reflection of our mission to look beyond what is immediately visible and surround individuals and families with comprehensive services that support their journey toward new Heights of health, stability, and opportunity. The MHHC Foundation is pleased to announce our 24th Annual Impact Awards Gala, taking place on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Marina Del Rey. This distinguished evening will bring together community leaders, partners, and advocates dedicated to uplifting underserved communities and honoring the dignity, potential, and powerful stories of those whose strength too often goes unseen.
This year’s theme, Buena Vista: The Good View \ Bel Vizyon, is inspired by the celebrated musical Buena Vista Social Club, which reintroduced the world to legendary Cuban musicians whose voices and life stories had long gone unheard. Their journey reflects our belief that when we look beyond the surface, we uncover resilience, cultural depth, and extraordinary beauty deserving of recognition—much like the communities we serve.
