About Carol

Carol Wei is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) providing care for adult patients at the Brooklyn office of Morris Heights Health Center. She graduated with her FNP degree from the State University of New York (SUNY)-Downstate in Brooklyn, New York where she was the graduating student to receive the program’s Clinical Excellence award. Carol was also a panelist with elected officials and progressive advocates during the Harm Reduction and Substance Abuse Plenary session at the Council for State Government, East Annual Conference in New Hampshire. Prior to her work as an FNP, Carol had extensive community and clinical health care experience. She previously provided counseling to low-income first-time mothers on pregnancy, child growth, and personal development for 5 years as a Nurse Home Visitor at a nonprofit through the Nurse-Family Partnership. She also has over 8 years' experience as an ICU and floor nurse assisting patients with acute and chronic conditions. Carol earned her undergraduate degree from Southern Connecticut State University with a nursing major and theatre minor.
