Whistleblowing

Whistleblowing is an important part of MHHC’s Compliance program. Any patient who is concerned about illegal or inappropriate behaviors in the health center’s operations is encouraged to contact us. All reports will be confidential and will be investigated.

Required Closing Announcements:

PFI 6653: Mobile Van Closure. Morris Heights Health Center (MHHC) is providing notification of the prior closure of a mobile van extension clinic with PFI 6653. The mobile van was retired in 2015. MHHC continues to provide mobile clinic services through a replacement van that commenced operations several years ago. This notification is being provided in compliance with the New York State Department of Health's recently released Revised Facility Closure Plan Guidelines pursuant to DHDTC DAL#: 25-08.

PFI 4133: Counseling Center Article 31 Transfer from 70 W Burnside to MHHC @ Walton Counseling Center at 25 East 183rd Street, Bronx, NY 10453. Morris Heights Health Center (MHHC) is providing notification that services previously provided at 70 West Burnside Avenue, Bronx at an extension clinic called the "Morris Heights Counseling Center" were relocated to the Center's "Morris Heights at Walton Avenue" extension clinic located at 25 East 183rd Street. MHHC continues to provide services at 70 West Burnside Avenue through its "Women's Health & Birthing Pavilion" extension clinic. This notification is being provided in compliance with the New York State Department of Health's recently released Revised Facility Closure Plan Guidelines pursuant to DHDTC DAL#: 25-08.
