Celebrating 60 Years of Community-Centered Care

Join us as we celebrate National Health Center Week (NHCW) 2025, a nationwide campaign recognizing the vital work of Community Health Centers in advancing health equity and providing care to underserved communities. This year marks an extraordinary milestone—60 years of community-centered care—and we're proud to honor that legacy with a week of impactful and family-friendly events.

For over four decades, MHHC has been a trusted source of care and connection in the Bronx, and more recently, we've extended that same commitment to our community in Brooklyn. National Health Center Week is our chance to say thank you to our patients and showcase the many services, programs, and partnerships that help our communities thrive.

This year’s theme, “Celebrating 60 Years of Improving Our Nation’s Health,” focuses on honoring the history of health centers while looking forward to the future. It’s about recognizing the resilience of our communities, and the role health centers play as trusted partners in care, connection, and hope.

2025 Activities

We’re excited to host two dynamic Patient Appreciation Day events featuring:

• Free Health Screenings
• Social Services & Community Resources
• Raffles and Family-Friendly Games
• Live Entertainment, Music, and More!

• Bronx Celebration: Tuesday, August 5, 2025, 11AM-3PM | 85 W. Burnside Avenue
• Brooklyn Celebration: Friday, August 8, 2025, 11AM-3PM| 1095 Flatbush Avenue
