Senior Social Worker

Summary

Morris Heights Health Center (MHHC) is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as our Senior Social Worker. The candidate will be able to provide evaluations, psychotherapy and social services to individuals, couples, families and groups. They will participate in clinical staff development, supervision and performance improvement activities as a member of an interdisciplinary team. The individual may or may not supervise clinicians and/or interns, and they must have experience as a clinician.

They must be able to demonstrate leadership skills in staff meetings, project development, conducting staff development trainings, in-services, and be involved in departmental or organization wide special projects or program enhancement activities.

They will also provide clinical coverage of program site as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

The individual joining our team must have a Master's Degree from an accredited graduate school program, they must have a minimum of 5 years post graduate clinical practice. Demonstrated clinical experience in mental health, inpatient and/or outpatient setting in clinical field of practice working with children, adolescents and adults.
