As the COVID-19 Pandemic continues to be prevalent in our society, we have
extended our remote issuance of benefits until further notice.
We will continue to provide remote issuance of benefits for all appointments:
- If you are a current WIC participant, you should continue to call the WIC
office regarding your benefits.
- MHHC WIC staff will continue to update your e-WIC card, based on the type
of appointment over the phone.
- If you are a new client to the WIC program, you can also call the office
and we will be happy to assist you (see site locations and numbers listed below).
- Walk-ins are still accepted.
- Please download the WIC2go App to track your benefits and check your appointments below.

About WIC
What is WIC?
WIC is a federally funded Special Supplemental Nutrition Program that provides
nutrition education for low income pregnant, breastfeeding, non-breastfeeding
postpartum women, infants and children up to five years. Caretakers including
fathers can apply and receive for WIC for their children. WIC provides
benefits (eWIC) for nutritious foods such as milk, cheese, eggs, cereal,
formula, baby foods, fresh fruits and vegetables and much more. WIC also
provides breastfeeding support and referrals to medical and social services.
To qualify for WIC at Morris Heights Health Center one must live in New
York State, meet the rules pertaining to the income guidelines and have
a dietary need. You can receive WIC regardless of your immigration status.
