GRAF, Getting Real About Food

"A Healthy Lifestyle Program That's All About You"

Getting Real About Food, also known as GRAF, is a nutrition program that is catered to young adolescents from the ages of 10 to 17. The program offers one-on-one nutritional counseling, where the participant sits with a nutritionist for a fitness and diet assessment. The nutritionist then creates a program to help aid the individual in achieving optimal health. In addition, the individual participates in a interactive group session, where learning information on

  • how to read nutrition labels
  • nutritional values of fruits, vegetables and other foods
  • portion control.

The group also engages in food demostrations to show how to eat healthy alternatives. The group exercise class includes a personal trainer that teaches how to exercise safely, and the most effective exercise for their specific goals. Below is the schedule for the group classes.
