Salvattore Portocarrero received his Bachelor’s degree in science
of Physical Therapy at the Federico Villareal State University medical
school in LIMA-PERU, a 5 years program from 2002 to 2007. After serving
at the US Army for 4 years as a physical therapist tech, he completed
his credentials evaluation and started practicing at the Bronx Lebanon
Hospital, and then he joined the Morris Heights Health Center Team in
November 2013 as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Now as a full licensed Physical Therapist his areas of interest include
Manual Therapy, he completed several manual therapy techniques courses,
Orthopedics Physical therapy and rehabilitation, amputees’ Rehabilitation,
Stroke Rehabilitation and Geriatrics Rehabilitation in general.
