Family Planning

At Morris Heights Health Center we are committed to offering you the family planning services that you need, and access to the quality care that you deserve. The Family Planning Program is able to help adolescents, men, and women access reproductive health services such as counseling, health education, birth control, emergency contraception, pregnancy tests, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted Infections (STI’s), HIV testing and counseling, Pap smears, Colposcopy, Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure (LEEP), and more.

The program is staffed with Health Educators who can discuss topics such as Nutrition, Smoking Cessation, Puberty, Safer Sex practices and STI prevention, Birth Control methods including abstinence, and preconception counseling. Licensed Social Workers are available to discuss topics such as healthy relationships, stress management, pregnancy options counseling, and family involvement.

 All services provided at Morris Heights Health Center are confidential. If you qualify, you may be eligible for free birth control and other family planning services.
