| On December 9, 2008, Morris Heights Health Center launched a special program called ESP Emergency Services Program.
|
| MHHC Emergency Services Program identifies resources to provide solutions during the current economic decline that is affecting so many of our patients and communities. Workshops are conducted on a variety of topics and donations of food items are given to our patients. ESP partners and network with other community based agencies to conduct a Food Drive and workshops or presentations on topical issues such as:
|
- Housing emergency housing needs
- Financial Literacy - managing the bills
- Access to Healthcare regardless of your status
- Budgeting stretching the dollars
- Stress Management coping skills and opportunities to talk with a professional
|
| As the program grows, we will add topics of interest and concern to our community. We will continue to survey our patient population to determine their needs. |
|
| ESP delivers results! |
| To get involved you may contribute non-perishable food items such as: |
|
canned milk, meats, fish, beans,
pasta, rice
powdered/dried milk, pancake mix
boxes or packages of combination meals such as macaroni cheese
|
| You may make suggestions, refer your patients and bring your food items to the program at any of our locations. |
